digital art portfolio

Here you can find my digital art portfolio! These works have been made over the past one and a half years, as I've been rediscovering my passion for art and testing my digital capabilites.

hand-drawn art portfolio

Here you can find my hand-drawn art portfolio. Drawing by hand has been my go-to technique for a really long time. While I enjoy expanding my horizons with different mediums, it's always nice (and even creatively healthy) to go back to my roots and pick up a pencil and marker.

Most of these pieces are made with pens and markers. I typically use are COPIC, Graph'it or Touch Youch Youch markers.

Here you can find some of my sketches aswell.

"Movie Night"
drawing1
This is one of my favorite works, as I feel it perfectly encapsulates the style I want to expand on in my work.
"Why do you mess everything up?"
drawing2
This work portrays the torn feelings of a daughter born to a conservative father, and the dialogue between them. While the daughter deeply wants to love her father, she feels that his ideals are not only tearing the two apart, but also tearing her between two incompatible choices: familial love or her moral conscience. The text in this work is cut out from a newspaper and represents their interpersonal dialogue and the discourse that surrounds their relationship.

English translation:

(Daughter) "Why do you mess everything up?"

(Father) "Blood and Honor".

"Bloody patriarch"

"Neither innocent nor guilty"

"Your ideas are bold and original, yet even when you speak about them with fervor, others do not readily embrace them. They feel an urge to bring you back down to earth."

"Caution: Bad *EROTICA*"

"The Castle Tower"
drawing3
This is a short, one-page prompt for a fantasy mystery comic depicting a doll that fell from a castle tower.
"Sketches 1"
sketch1
Some of my character ideas, pose studies, and emotion studies
"Sketches 2"
sketch2
Some of the sketches I drew at Ciutatella Park in Barcelona. Here you can find some studies of real people and things, as well as some brainstorming sketches of mine.

painting portfolio

On this page, you can find my painting portfolio. However, I don't paint all that often; it is one of my favorite mediums to experiment with, as it allows me to create with a variety of colors and explore brushwork. All of my paintings have been created with acrylic paint.

"Still Life of Various Sculptures"
Eelakadeemia Acrylic Painting
This painting was created during a Visual Depiction Crash Course in the Estonian Academy of Art. The purpose of this work was to study lighting and composition.
"Still Life of a Sculpture"
Painting2
I also created this painting during the Visual Depiction Crash Course. It is a still life of one of the sculptures that I created during this course.
"The Endless Staircase"
Painting1
In this work, I was experimenting with painting in darker colors so the little light within the painting wasn't overdone, yet the tower and the figure wouldn't be diluted. This is also me experimenting with visual horror. I've always been fascinated by the medium, but I am still learning to depict it effectively within my art.

animation portfolio

On this page, you can find my animation portfolio. I've used Krita and Procreate to create digital animations. Unfortunately, I'm unsure which program I used for the stop-motion projects. At the moment, I only have access to Procreate to animate.

"A Surreal Video Project"

This video was played at a young writers' event in Estonia. The purpose of this project was to showcase my poetry and to display background visuals while the other writers performed with their texts. The poem is performed in Estonian, but an English translation will be provided in the captions. Note: this is the shortened version of the original video, which was over 30 minutes long.
